psi-chology.com is satire.

Its aim is to raise awareness of various potential concerns in contemporary psychological research and related disciplines. These can include issues of unsubstantiated claims, theoretical gaps, terminological ambiguity, insufficient methodology, questionable research practices, lacking reproducibility and replicability, rhetorical acrimony, or any combination thereof. It is not directed at or limited to specific areas, topics, methodologies, or individuals. It is not an attack site, nor is it meant to insult anyone.

Rather, its purpose is to communicate psychological research topics and their respective problems or limitations with an accessible, humorous language. It is targeted at anyone following psychological research, but meant to be understandable for undergraduates and interested laypeople. Thus, psi-chology.com is educational in nature, aiming to engage readers with the wider literature and current research practice and discussions in psychological science.
